Who We Are

Migrating from Punjab, India as a teenager in the mid 1980's, TJ risked everything in hopes of providing better opportunities for his family. After 10+ grueling years of tough jobs and long hours, in 1998 he pooled resources with family and risked it all - they built a gas station ground-up with no prior business experience. After nearly failing and walking away, they endured and pulled through eventually making way for further expansion. TJ's civil engineering background, financial acumen, and attention to detail helps Tee Jay Ventures refine strategy and stay the course. 

Similarly, JD left everything he ever knew in Punjab to come to the states and start from the bottom. From his first job making less than $4/hour at Jack in the Box, to plumbing, auto repair, and everything in between, JD eventually risked it all alongside his brother-in-law, TJ. After nearly losing everything they worked so hard and so long for, the family figured it out and began to expand shortly thereafter. JD's visionary leadership and networking drive partnerships and brand growth, helping Tee Jay Ventures strive for more. 

As Chief Financial Officer, Chandan oversees the financial activities at Tee Jay Ventures. He tracks cash flow, oversees budgeting, and monitors the financial health of the company. With several years of banking experience, including stops at US Bank and BNP Paribas, Chandan's expertise in accounting, tax strategy, and financial analysis help ensure Tee Jay Ventures will thrive for years to come.
